Course Description & Objectives
Recently, especially after the invasion of ChatGPT, adopting and successfully using AI capabilities has become a requirement for a company’s competitive advantage. One of the biggest challenges in accomplishing this goal is helping the key business decision-makers to recognize the value creation potential of AI and start exploring it. This short course will help them achieve this objective in four one-hour-long lectures by answering the critical questions about the potential business benefits from AI:
The first question: What is AI?
Includes: explaining the key AI technologies in plain English, focusing on their capabilities of solving real-world problems, and clarifying appropriate AI solutions to business problems. The key message is: AI is NOT rocket science and can be practiced and used in any business. At the same time, it is not as simple as using ChatGPT.
The second question: What are the benefits of investing in AI?
Includes: clarifying the sources of AI competitive advantage and focusing on the challenges and issues in applying AI in business. The key message is: companies that have appropriately used AI are more PROFITABLE.
The third question: Is it challenging to apply AI?
Includes: demonstrating the power of AI with appropriate business applications and recommends how to identify proper applications of AI in your business. Some challenges in applying ChatGPT will be discussed as well. The key message is: AI has been successfully applied in many use cases that can be leveraged to solve your business problems.
The fourth question: How to begin applying AI?
Includes: clarifying the needed infrastructure and skillset for a successful introduction of AI into a business and suggesting a roadmap for doing it. The key message is: the path towards integrating AI into a business is well defined and tested at many companies.
The course gives the participants the needed information for making decisions about the future role of AI in their businesses.
